VWR® Mini Centrifuge
The VWR® Mini Centrifuge is designed for the centrifugation of microcentrifuge tubes and PCR strips. The unit features a quick-release rotor adapter (no tools required) that accommodates either an 8-Place tube or 4x8 PCR strip rotor. The higher speed rating (8,500rpm/3,884rcf) allows users to spin samples more rapidly or be used in applications where greater g-force is required. To prevent accidental opening during operation, the VWR® Mini Centrifuge is designed with an innovative dual safety lock lid mechanism that engages once the unit begins operation. To open, simply press the lid release (blue button) located on the front of the centrifuge.
The VWR® Mini Centrifuge also features a recessed rotor bowl for spill containment, an externally accessible fuse, and a rubber coated metal base plate for greater stability and reduced vibration. All units feature a worldwide voltage rating (100–240V). Detachable power cord and two-year warranty are also included with every unit.
Ordering Information: The VWR® Mini Centrifuge is supplied with a rotor for eight 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL tubes, a rotor for four 8x0.2 mL PCR tube strips, and 8 adapters (inserts) for 0.5 mL tubes.
